There have been numerous projects over the years, and these have been some of the most memorable...

MY FAVOURITE SHIRT (2004)
A fantastic book by Terry Rawlings celebrating Ben Sherman shirts. I contributed a number of photographs.
SCOOTER RALLY ANTHEMS (2005)
A compilation CD album I put together for the Sanctuary Music Group. Artists included Paul Weller, Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scene, Edwin Starr and many more. I also wrote the sleeve notes, and was responsible for the cover and inner photography.
THE ART OF SCOOTERS (2008)
Commissioned by the publishers of Scootering, I conceived, researched, largely wrote and edited. The book tracks the customising of scooters from the 1950s to the present day - the best scooters the world.
50 YEARS OF MOD... IN THE MEDIA (2014)
A supplement to Scootering magazine which I commissioned, part wrote and edited. It focussed on what the media portrayed as Mod (early 60s era) rather than the full story of the movement which traces it roots to the late 1950s, using some previously unpublished images and interviews.
NEVILLE STAPLE: THE RUDE BOY RETURNS (2004)
I wrote the sleeve notes on the ex-Specials and Fun Boy Three frontman’s new solo album. The album featured special guests Mick Jones (The Clash), Donovan and Rat Scabies (The Damned) and coincided with the 25th anniversary of 2-Tone as well as the 40th Anniversary of Ben Sherman.
CASA PERFORMANCE CATALOGUE (2016)
A last minute commission to update the current catalogue and create a summer 2016 edition with new products, new section, new cover, as well as edit and clean up previous publication.
Working with designer David Hardy we had a tight deadline and a few late nights, but we made it!
THE LAMBRETTA FACTORY IN SPAIN (2015)
A fabulous book that examines the history of Lambretta production in Spain, the companies behind it and the models. A high-end product with amazing photographs and very well presented in three languages. I helped with the editing in English after the initial translation from Spanish.
INFLUX MAGAZINE (2016)
In June 2016 I was invited as a guest writer for Influx magazine to be part of a series titled “Scootermania! Teenagers and the Freedom Principle.”
For this I wrote two articles, Youth Culture & the Scooter, and the other on the sporting Vespa T5 model of the 1980s.
Both are subjects I very much enjoy writing about, the ‘youth culture’ aspect in particular as it is always nice to get the story straight (compared to the usual tabloid-generated sensationalist guess-work one often sees published in the media in general).
